Insight Power Institute was founded by Louise M. Morman, who created it to sustain and extend a body of transformational leadership work she has developed across a career in leadership education. She serves as Founder, President, and Executive Director.

For fourteen years, Louise has been the founding Executive Director of the Lilly Leadership Institute at Miami University, where she built a nationally recognized, multi-year leadership development program. Over that time she secured more than $2 million in support, recruited fourteen cohorts, taught more than seventy classes, and worked with over 250 students as the Institute's primary instructor across its courses and workshops.

Earlier in her career she held senior executive roles across the energy sector — including Senior Vice President of Marketing, Economic Development, and Supply Planning at the New York Power Authority, and leadership positions at Delmarva Power and Dayton Power & Light — and served as a senior management consultant at Price Waterhouse. She was a member of the inaugural class of A. Barry Rand Fellows for AARP's Life Reimagined program.

Louise is a certified executive coach and a practitioner of vertical development, and the author of the memoir There’s No Place Like Home and of an IEEE Computer article on preparing the next generation of leaders.
